Notton Tennis Club has a Centenarian

In August last year we wrote about our member Tom Hicks and his fame as the Oldest Tennis Player in the UK.
The most important event on our calendar this year has been that Tom, a founder member of our club, was 100 years old this month.
We celebrated last week with a BBQ at the side of the courts. The weather was not kind to us but nevertheless it was enjoyed by Tom’s friends and co-members. Tom decided to stop playing tennis only three weeks ago and we will all miss him.
