Notton Village Hall
Notton is a friendly and welcoming rural Yorkshire village between Barnsley and Wakefield.
Our village hall is at the hub of social activities and is situated in the centre of the village.
We're proud of our village hall
Our Hall is totally independent of District and Parish councils and other than a small grant for the children's play park, receives no financial aid from them.
This means that the upkeep of the Hall is therefore entirely reliant on income generated either from fundraising events or from hiring out the hall externally to individuals or groups.
It is a Registered Charity (No 523790) and is run by a team of dedicated and hard working volunteers on a Management Committee of Notton residents, overseen by Trustees who hold the Hall and associated lands under a Deed of Trust.
As a Charity our Hall is not driven to make a profit so any surplus income is primarily used for maintenance and improvements of the hall and its facilities.
