Notton Challengers is a relatively new club and team, playing since 2024 in the Pontefract & District Cricket League, and in Division 2 for the upcoming 2025 season. We played cricket in Division 1 from 2020 for the Yorkshire & Derbyshire Cricket League in South Yorkshire under the Sheffield Superstrikers CC banner. For the 2022-2023 season, we were also crowned the BRIAN WINSTON PREMIER CUP Champions.
We are a close-knit group of friends who are all extremely passionate about the sport and have been playing cricket for as long as we can remember! Every Saturday during the summer months there is nothing we would rather do than to get on the field and play some high quality grassroot cricket, give a tough challenge to the opposition and have a good laugh doing so!
For the upcoming season we are fielding one team for the club and predominately operating on Saturdays with the odd cup tie played on Sundays. If you are passionate about Cricket, love to challenge yourself each week, enjoy a good social outing with other people, and are a local to the Wakefield and Leeds region then come and join our club.
