Notton Cricket Club was formed in 1951 after the field was left in Trust to the Village Hall Trustees. It forms part of the Sports and Village Hall complex.
We welcome anyone to the club to share the fantastic facilities on offer. The new Sports & Social Pavilion opened in 2019 and the outfield has undergone professional groundwork to create a field worthy of its surroundings.
There is one team playing cricket throughout the summer in the Pontefract and District Cricket League. The club predominately operates on Saturdays with the odd cup tie or charity match played on Sundays.
The club is actively looking for players to join us so if you are interested in playing cricket or perhaps even umpiring, do not hesitate to contact any of the numbers below.
We encourage youngsters, boys and girls, to take part in cricket. Please get in touch for more information.
Fundraising via social events within the Village Hall combined with well attended car boot sales and an annual classic car gathering raise much needed funds to maintain equipment and the condition of the outfield.
